Exception — White Paper Publication & Certification Fee
The day-based tiers above assume a ticket tied to an event date. The Publication Fee is tied to editorial work, not a date, so it follows its own rule: illustratively, full refund if requested before editorial processing begins; no refund once the paper has entered layout/print production, since that work has already been performed. Exact cut-off to be confirmed.
Reschedule Option
As an alternative to a refund, registrants may reschedule their pass to another city/month on the 60-month calendar free of charge, up to 7 days before the original event date, subject to availability.
Cancellation or Rescheduling by VBC
If a city edition is postponed or cancelled by VBC, registrants will be offered a choice of full refund or transfer to the rescheduled date, communicated via email and My VBC.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed to the original Razorpay payment method within the standard banking timeframe (typically 5–10 business days).
